Oxford Population Health (the Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford) is a global pioneer and leader in population health science. The Senior Public and Patient Involvement and Engagement Officer will work as part of a small team to generate involvement and engagement with a range of stakeholders, including the ‘general' public, participants in our research studies, staff, students, partner organisations, clinicians, funders, and policy-makers. This role has specific responsibility for facilitating and encouraging patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) in a range of projects undertaken across the department and providing support and guidance to researchers undertaking PPIE.
To be considered for this role, you will be educated to a degree level or equivalent, have experience in line management as well as experience in a communications and/or PPIE role including experience of developing and using a variety of tools to create, deliver and evaluate PPIE activities/materials. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and planning and project management skills.
The position is full-time (part-time considered) and fixed term for two years in the first instance. The closing date for applications is noon on Tuesday, 25 June 2024.
