An opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Public Affairs Adviser (Strategic Campaigns) to join our busy Public Affairs team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the momentum on our award-winning Future Skills campaign, as well as working across other key priorities and partnerships.
The Public Affairs team delivers across an exciting and dynamic range of projects. Our stakeholders are just as varied as the topics we work on, ranging from internal colleagues to key influencers and partners at a local, national and international level.
The PersonAs an accomplished public affairs professional, you will be a confident self- starter and persuasive communicator. You will have consultancy or in-house experience in a similar role, ideally within higher education or government.
With extensive campaign expertise, you will be adept at delivering impactful campaign strategies, engagement programmes and stakeholder communications. Also an excellent writer, you will have an unwavering commitment to producing high quality work.
With superb relationship management skills, you will have the confidence to work with influential figures across the political, business and higher education spectrum A highly driven project manager, you will be comfortable working across multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work on your own initiative, you will proactively seek out opportunities to raise the University's profile and thrive in a collaborative environment, working with a wide cross section of colleagues.
Further informationThis is full time, permenant position with a starting salary of £43,187.00 per annum.
