  • About This Opportunity

    Join our prestigious university as a Senior Project Officer, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of strategic and operational outcomes within our Research Partnerships function.

    Responsibilities include coordinating and administering projects of varying sizes and complexities, from planning to stakeholder engagement, monitoring, and evaluation. You'll also oversee project deliverables, communication activities, stakeholder engagements, and project budgets. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

    Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate project-delivery cycle phases: planning, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Undertake project-specific analysis and research, contributing to project briefs for decision making.
  • Engage stakeholders accurately through various mediums.
  • Coordinate aspects of project budget management.
  • This is a full-time (100%), fixed-term position through to 31st May 2027.

    At HEW level 6, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $88,099 - $94,512, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $103,076. - $110,579 annually As this role is covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases in line with the Enterprise Agreement.

    About You

  • Demonstrated experience in providing project coordination and/or administrative support.
  • A developing understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to balance competing priorities within tight timeframes.
  • Demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders to provide updates regarding project status and implementation issues.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Experience coordinating diverse stakeholder engagements.
  • Experience using Microsoft and CRM solutions would be advantageous, or a proven ability to quickly adapt to new project management software.
