About the Centre for Water Technology and Policy

The Centre for Water Technology and Policy at the University of Hong Kong, established in 2018, conducts cutting-edge research on water technology-policy interface issues that would result in findings of direct practical relevance for Hong Kong's urban water sector. Duties and responsibilities

  • Design and implement engagement strategies that target high water consumption users across diverse business sectors
  • Act as primary contact point for participating companies, offering responsive and solution-focused support
  • Keep track of the progress of participating companies and how data are translated into actionable insights to improve water-use efficiency
  • Manage project timeline and budget
  • Support the project team in executing online and offline knowledge exchange initiatives for non-specialist audiences, including website content optimisation, management of social media platforms, seminars and media interviews
  • Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Management, Marketing or Environmental Management
  • At least 3 years of experience in account servicing or customer services, preferably in agency settings
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Research Assistant I position
  • Excellent written and spoken proficiency in Chinese/Cantonese and English
  • Strong communication skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, effective time management, self-motivation, and meticulous attention to detail
  • A strong interest in sustainability and environmental conservation issues is a plus
  • What we offer

    The appointment will commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
