Senior Project Officer (at the rank of Executive Officer) in Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 524031), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basis salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree and preferably a higher degree in medical sciences, sciences or a related discipline, with at least 5 year of post-qualification work experience preferably solid experiences with research administration at supervisory or management level in the university setting. He/She should have a good command of written English and Chinese; good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; effective organizational and communication skills; proficiency in IT; and a strong sense of responsibility. Experience in managing research projects and grants would be an advantage.
The appointee will be involved in the implementation and coordination of various projects. He/She will provide support to the teaching and administrative components of the projects; and perform any other duties as assigned.
