Estates & Facilities Management

Part of Estates & Facilities Management, the Domestic Services Team provide a range of essential services which contribute towards creating a secure and clean environment for work and study.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Premises Officer to join our team. The Senior Premises Officer is responsible for the daily supervision and allocation of work to the Domestic Services team, duties include organising staff resources, the planning and co-ordinating of specialist cleaning programmes and the delivery of conference and event requirements.

The successful candidate should have previous experience of supervising or managing staff in a facilities service function, be able to plan and organise effectively, have the ability to motivate staff, prioritise workloads and possess excellent customer services skills.

The position currently available is for 37 hours per week, on 5 over 7, open ended contract. Shifts are worked on a split shift basis, typically starting at 6:00am (five days per week) with the second shift starting at 5:00pm (4 days per week).

Within this position you will occasionally be required to work at weekends as and when required.
