Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Manager/Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant I/II) (several posts) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 524254), to commence as soon as possible, on a three/two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 10 years' work experience in the higher education sector. They should be excellent communicators with an exceptional command of English and Chinese. They should have a strong sense of responsibility; strategic awareness; a high level of decision-making, organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills; and an appropriate level of IT knowledge. They should be capable of working proficiently and independently; and able to motivate their subordinates to deliver quality work under tight deadlines. Experience in managing postgraduate programme and/or research awards/grants is essential. Experience in managing events, internal IT systems/applications, research centres, research performance and/or impact-related initiatives would be an advantage. Those with less experience would be considered for appointment as Manager.

The appointee will play a versatile role in leading administrative, executive and clerical staff in supporting a range of tasks, on and above operational level, such as postgraduate programme management; assessment, quality assurance and enhancement of postgraduate programmes; and driving research enhancement, performance, and impact initiatives at the Faculty level. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and written test.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary for AA I and 10% of basic salary for AA II.
