Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Manager / Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant I/II (AA I/II)) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 524505), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a good university degree, preferably a Master's degree, with at least 8 years' work experience at supervisory level in higher education sector or a related field. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua will be an advantage); strong organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; IT proficiency; the ability to follow through tasks assigned, multi-task and work independently with initiatives; and a strong sense of responsibility and ethics. They should also be self-motivated, detail-oriented, mature, a good team leader/player with a positive attitude. Experience in 1) healthcare sector, 2) managing Mainland China-related affairs and/or 3) working with Mainland organisations will be advantageous. Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for appointment as AA II.

The appointee will play a versatile role at the HKU Health System, the umbrella executive arm overseeing and supporting the LKS Faculty of Medicine's clinical enterprises, including clinical governance, legal compliance, liaison with public and private affiliate teaching hospitals, introduction of new clinical service initiatives, and participate in the redevelopment projects of public teaching hospitals. Occasional travelling may be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary for AA I and 10% of basic salary for AA II.
