Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Manager for Digital Strategy and Social Media (at the rank of Administrative Assistant I) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 525988), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 5 years' experience in communications, journalism and/or public relations, in a public/quasi-public organization. They should have exceptional interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills; and the ability to produce high- quality outputs in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience and demonstrated track record in one or more of the following areas are essential: (i) digital strategy and communications; (ii) social media platforms management; (iii) content curation; (iv) multimedia production; (v) working with and managing a cross-functional team. Applicants should be familiar with best practices of current and upcoming digital technologies in managing digital and social media platforms.

Serving as a key member of the Knowledge Exchange & Faculty Advancement Team, the appointee will be responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive digital communications strategy for HKUMed, including but not limited to websites, email marketing and social media platforms. This strategy will involve articulating goals, drafting policies, promoting audience growth, developing engagement messaging, and identifying and tracking data analytics for improvement. He/She should also maintain and provide oversight for the Faculty's social media platforms, manage, improve and create engaging written and video content; and perform any other duties and projects as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
