The School of Accountancy under the CUHK Business School now invites applications for the position of Senior Lecturer(s) or Lecturer(s).
Applicants should (i) have a higher degree, preferably with a doctoral degree in Accounting. Those who are able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting will be preferentially considered; (ii) have at least 5 years of teaching/ professional experience; (iii) demonstrate the ability for high quality teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels depending on the qualifications and experience; (iv) strong commitment to excellence in teaching and (v) excellent communication skills in English.
The appointee(s) will (i) teach courses in Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting at undergraduate/postgraduate level; (ii) serve as an academic advisor to students and provide academic guidance and advice to students; (iii) contribute to the School's programme planning and coordination; and (iv) provide services for programmes, serve on committee and participate in other teaching and academic activities as assigned.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for two years commencing August 2024, renewable subject to mutual agreement and satisfactory performance.
