This role is an opportunity to shape the quality of teaching and learning at RMIT Vietnam through teaching and scholarship. The position could suit a seasoned academic, wanting to have mentoring role in developing SOTL capabilities across the University. The position could also suit a younger academic that is keen to further establish themselves in the field of teaching and learning working closely with other academic staff in establishing a field of expertise through research, inquiry publications and teaching.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Lecturer, Learning & Teaching will contribute to the enhancement of learning, teaching, and assessment across the University through the leadership and delivery of the Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Learning and Teaching (GCTLT), leadership and engagement in research, and other professional activities. The Senior Lecturer will develop the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) program to build SOTL capacity and produce high-quality research outputs that are aligned with the University's research focus areas in learning and teaching.

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENT
English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS 7.0 (academic, with no skill less than 6.5) (or equivalent, as outlined in the Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding Guidelines). For any role, English Language Proficiency may also be proven by showing successful completion of secondary education to a level qualifying to enter university study while being instructed through the medium of English, as per the RMIT University recognised qualification list.
WORK PERMIT
As an expatriate candidate, you will require a work permit to work in Vietnam. To qualify for a work permit you will need (at minimum) a degree in a relevant field to the position and must be able to provide official written confirmation (statement of service) of at least 3 years' related experience.
