Senior Lecturer in Advanced Clinical Practice - ePortfolio supported route (remote working)
£46,485 rising to £56,921 (pro rata) Part Time, Fixed Term - Academic
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Advanced Practice CPD programme academic team. This is a part-time, fixed term post for 2 years.
Overall purpose of post :
This role is designed to support experienced NHS practitioners who believe they have a portfolio demonstrating ‘equivalence' of level 7 educational attainment/experience across all 4 pillars of advanced practice. The aim is to guide them through the ePortfolio (supported) route, enabling them to achieve education provider sign-off and qualify for the Centre for Advancing Practice digital badge.
The successful candidate will support each applicant's learning needs analysis, provide academic support to the practitioner and review their e-Portfolio through to completion (deemed to meet the requirements of the framework). Academic Support may include 1-1 support (online), assessment of portfolio, advice, and guidance to achieve recognition. This will also require engagement with data collection and quality monitoring processes supported by an administrator.
Qualifications required :
● Registered health care professional (HCPC / NMC)
● MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent)
● Teaching Qualification
Experience required for post : Recent teaching experience delivering Advanced Practice Higher Education
● Excellent understanding of the capabilities outlined in the Multi- professional framework
● Knowledge of the NHSE e-Portfolio supported route
● Skills to support practitioners in achieving depth, breadth, and synthesis to demonstrate fulfilment of the capabilities.
● Recognise and support individual learning needs
● Experience in academic advising and pastoral care
● Experience supporting students remotely
