Senior Laboratory Assistant / Laboratory Assistant in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 528804) to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language. They should be licensed to operate electrical boiler or be willing to complete necessary courses to obtain the license. They should also be self-motivated and able to work within a team as well as independently. The appointee is expected to prepare reagents and consumables for autoclaving, help to maintain general cleanliness in the office and laboratory areas, provide courier support, and perform any other duties as assigned.
