  • About You

    You're an experienced ICT professional and an excellent problem-solver, adept at working in complex information environments. With a strong grasp of systems and data integration, you excel at building relationships and communicating with diverse stakeholders. You can translate technical information for people with varying levels of ICT and integration knowledge. As an organised team player, you successfully manage competing priorities and project timelines.

    About the Role

    As the Senior Integration Specialist, you will contribute to the design, development, implementation and support of the University's teaching, learning, research and corporate systems, applications and services. You will lead, engage with, and implement, all facets of the software and systems development lifecycle. You will provide technical leadership in the design, development and maintenance of data integrations between University systems using a variety of technologies and tools, across in-house and vendor supported applications, both on-premise and in the cloud environment.

    About Information Strategy and Technology Services (ISTS)

    ISTS provides primary strategic and operational responsibility for the UniSA's considerable IT infrastructure and services. The specialist teams within ISTS contribute to the University's strategic goals and objectives by providing University wide IT support for staff and students. The team is also the key provider for technical project management services for major, University wide ICT projects, and ongoing support, development, and management of all ICT infrastructure, policies, and processes.

    Essential Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in the design, development and support of software applications
  • Experience managing systems and data integration projects in complex information environments
  • Strong understanding of programming languages, application development tools, integration platforms and databases - particularly .NET
  • Expert level skills in Oracle SQL, including the development of tables and views, as well as stored procedures (using PL/SQL/C#)
