Your new role Join Curtin University as a Senior ICT Business Analyst , where you'll play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technological solutions. Leading the charge in implementing streamlined operations and enhancing software quality, you'll collaborate closely with Product Managers/Owners and delivery teams through Agile practices. You will be able to identify business needs and have the technical expertise to design, build and drive solutions. Your expertise in requirements management, data, analytics, software quality assurance, and end user support will drive ideas and add value delivery to staff and students.

As the Senior ICT Business Analyst:

  • You're the translator between business needs and technological solutions. Your ability to understand both worlds is your superpower.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers/Owners and delivery teams. Embrace Agile practices to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Dive into data, analyse trends, and uncover insights. Your data-driven decisions will propel us forward.
  • Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders. You'll be the glue that binds us together.
  • Ensure software quality. Your eagle eyes catch bugs before they even know they exist.
  • We are looking for someone with:

  • Extensive experience in business analysis, process improvement, or project management.
  • Demonstrated collaborative and inclusive approach to problem solving with the ability to work with Product Owners to break down complex ideas into actionable tasks.
  • Strong experience and commitment to the implementation of best practice, business process improvement and client focused service management and delivery standards to deliver effective and efficient services.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting software quality assurance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and manage vendors to track the delivery of services or solutions.
  • High level organisational skills and understanding of project management and agile methodologies and frameworks.
  • Knowledge and experience with Cloud platforms, including those from AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Recognised Agile or SAFe certification.
  • As this is a permanent position, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role to be considered.

    This position is based at our Curtin Bentley campus, candidates are expected to either be currently located in Perth, WA, or express a willingness to relocate. Please note: Relocation and sponsorship support will not be provided for this position.
