You will also have the opportunity to contribute strategic insights, policy interpretation, and process improvements within the Pre-Award Team.

    Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide expert advice and coordinate the review of research grant applications to ensure compliance with funding guidelines and eligibility requirements.

  • Offer critical strategic feedback, writing, and editing support to enhance the quality and competitiveness of grant submissions.

  • Build strong relationships with researchers, faculties, and external funding bodies, providing specialist advice on grant opportunities and application processes.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of pre-award processes, interpret funding policies, and develop high-quality documentation to support research funding initiatives.

  • About You
  • Extensive experience in research administration or research management, with a strong understanding of grant application processes and funding requirements.

  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear advice and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex policies and provide strategic recommendations.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to review and edit grant applications for clarity, compliance, and competitiveness.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

  • High-level proficiency in administrative computer applications, including word processing, data management, and spreadsheets.

  • The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre- employment checks, including right to work in Australia and a criminal check.

    required.
