| About The Position: | The Senior Financial Analyst, within the Budget & Financial Reporting Services Department, is an integral member of the campus community, working collaboratively with faculty and staff across the University, as well as SUNY System Administration. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between the Budget & Financial Reporting Services Department and the Facilities Department. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: developing and submitting all budgets related to Facilities; reviewing and analyzing Facilities budget variances on an ongoing basis; tracking and monitoring Facilities positions; monitoring and administering minor rehabilitation funding, campus LETS, dormitory funding, and construction crew accounts; inputting requisitions into the e-procurement system; approving and monitoring requisitions related to campus projects; creation and submission of campus project forms; monitoring project budgets vs actual expenses; ensuring correct account usage for expenses; campus utility tracking and projections; creating accounts and processing journal transfers; and performing monthly reconciliations. Budget & Financial Reporting Services is part of the Administration & Finance Division, which delivers essential services to the campus community and to local, state, federal, and international customers. The division is responsible for managing the University’s human, physical, financial, and technical resources. Staff work collaboratively and thoughtfully across systems and departments to support the University’s educational mission.
