Senior Executive Assistant / Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Academic Support and Examinations Section of the Registry (Ref.: 526805) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 5 to 6 years' relevant experience; OR a recognised Higher Diploma/Associate Degree with 4 years' relevant work experience in office administration, preferably in the education sector. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong communication and problem-solving skills; as well as a good numerical sense and an appropriate level of IT skills. They should also be a good team player with self-motivation and a strong sense of responsibility, and be able to prioritise multiple tasks efficiently. Those with lower qualifications or less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Assistant.
The appointee will provide secretarial support to the Head, Academic Support and Examinations Section and assistance for general office administration; support the handling of finance-related matters for students, including issuance of tuition fee e-invoice, preparation of relevant documents, handling of student enquiries, management of the fees system, etc.; provide clerical support for servicing committees; and perform any other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
