About You
You have demonstrated experience in running large scale, complex events, and understand the importance of meeting logistical requirements. With a can-do attitude, you use your strong interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels. You are precise in your ability to prepare documentation, and are exceptionally organised. Importantly, you can relate to students and have a passion for supporting their University journey.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of University-wide student engagement events on behalf of the Student Engagement Unit. These events are aimed at providing a positive student co- curricular experience through engagement in activities, programs and student journey thus improving the vibrancy of UniSA campuses and the online space.
Events include, but are not limited to: Multicultural festival, Diwali, Volunteering Expo, Orientation, R U OK? Day, wellbeing events and more.
This position plays a key role in establishing and maintaining strong working relationships, and the provision of high-level support and advice to professional and academic units in delivering local area student events as well as coordinating logistical arrangements on the day.
About the Student Engagement Unit
The Student Engagement Unit (SEU) is responsible for the strategic development and delivery of student facing services that will enhance the on- campus and off-campus student experience for all students. The SEU also takes strategic steps to inform the quality of the student experience of learning and teaching, support services, the learning environment, and student facilities.
SEU services include Orientation, UniSA Sport, Career Services, Student Life, Student Wellbeing, Student Counselling, International Student Support, Learning Advice, Wirringka Student Services, and Access and Inclusion Services.
