    The Opportunity

    As a Senior Educational Designer, you will be a vital asset to designated faculties, driving the adoption of new educational approaches, technologies, and learning spaces. Reporting to the Deputy Dean Education, you'll have autonomy in a dynamic role with strategic oversight, and collaborative partnerships across the Faculty.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and evaluation of educational projects in learning design, technologies, and spaces
  • Collaborate with the Deputy Dean Education and Associate Dean (Student Experience) to understand and address educational issues and methodologies
  • Provide expert consultative support to academic and professional staff for content, curriculum, and instruction enhancement
  • Gather feedback to develop standards and best practices for educational approaches and technologies
  • Lead strategic communications and change management initiatives related to education design
  • Conceptualize, develop, and review ongoing academic development programs
  • Represent the faculty at the university level on all matters related to education design
  • The Successful applicant will posses:

  • Considerable experience in curriculum design, e-learning, and educational technologies
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous extensive experience as an educator, including classroom instruction and innovation in unit/course management
  • Familiarity with educational software (e.g., Google Apps for Education, Moodle, PebblePad, Mahara)
