    The Digital Services teams at the University of York support the delivery of the University strategy. We work across research, student experience, teaching and learning, business transformation and core systems, keeping the University productive.

    We are looking for experienced Business Analysts to join our friendly and forward-thinking Digital Services change team. The team is widely recognised across the organisation for its project management and business analysis expertise and provides a strategic project delivery capability for the University. You will lead by example and take an active role in supporting the development of our Business Analysis practice and other Business Analysts at the University. This may include opportunities for line management, mentoring or coaching.

    Salary and benefits:

  • £45,163 - £55,295 a year plus £6,000 market supplement
  • Hybrid working (between home & office)
  • 30 days annual leave (38 including bank holidays)

    Skills, Experience & Qualification needed

  • Experience of Business Analysis in a large, complex organisation
  • Experience of playing a leading role on a complex, cross-functional project
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills; able to confidently guide them through the challenges of prioritisation, and provide information to support recommended decisions
  • Confidence in navigating the most complex challenges with dedication, passion and an agile mindset
  • Level 6 qualification. (Qualifications at this level include an undergraduate degree. Please view the full list.) We also welcome applicants with equivalent non-UK qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
