Job Purpose
To supervise other members of security staff on a shift, supporting and overseeing uniformed patrols on a rotating shift pattern of twelve-hours, starting at 6 am on day shifts and 6 pm on night shifts.
The shift pattern is as follows
Patrols involve foot, cycle, and the use of vehicles, responding to incidents on university property, and will include responsibilities away from the University site either involving students or as part of other contracted security responsibilities.
Safety of the staff and students is our priority, in addition to ensuring the safety and welfare of all people connected with or visiting the University, the protection of university property and the regulation of vehicle movement on and around the University site.
