Security Specialist (at the rank of IT Officer) (several posts) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 524015) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer or IT- related disciplines, with good command of both spoken English and Chinese as well as at least 4 years' experience in network infrastructure or security infrastructure. They should have practical experience with enterprise grade of security equipment. Applicants certified with Cisco CCNP Level or equivalent would be in definite advantage.
The appointees will closely work on both infrastructure and application projects with both internal and external parties. They will analyze, evaluate and address security risks in respects to both infrastructure facilities and applications. They will also design and implement security controls, data resilience, and data recovery measures. Other responsibilities include early detection of suspicious security incident and mitigation of the associated security risks, implementation of systems and applications with adequate security controls, handling Network or Security infrastructure migration, delivery of trainings on security, and maintaining the current security policies and guidelines in a timely manner.
