Be the driving force ensuring our regional AI lab is at the centre of AI and robotics research Highly collaborative role, understanding robotic needs and delivering solutions Escape city living and make a tree change to the beautiful NSW central west The Role Fixed term (up to 5 years), Full time Level 8 - $107,199 to $121,340 pa (plus 17% superannuation) Bathurst The role requires you to have a sound understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and be adept at diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues in robotic systems. You will work effectively with engineers, developers, and other team members, ensuring that the Regional AI Lab remains at the forefront of AI and robotics research. Your responsibilities in the Regional AI Lab will be centred around the following areas: Maintenance and troubleshooting of devices in the Regional AI Lab Robotics and automation Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications Mechatronic systems About you A degree in robotics, mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field or an equivalent level of knowledge. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or ROS (Robot Operating System). Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including sensors, actuators, and motors.
