About the role:
You will be joining our Risk and Insurance Team within the Secretary and Clerks Office. As a member of this small team, you will be contributing to and supporting the management of strategic and operational risk registers; internal audit action administration and reporting; and operational insurance matters such as claims, overseas travel and renewals.
You will have a Degree, or be part qualified in a relevant professional qualification at degree level appropriate to the role or have demonstrable appropriate level of experience and evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the role. Ideally you will have experience of working within the higher education sector and be able to demonstrate excellent administrative and organisational skills. You will be a self-motivated, effective team player with a positive “can-do” approach. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will be working with a large number of internal and external key stakeholders to deliver against multiple deadlines throughout the year such U. M. Association Limited and KPMG.
This role is part time, 10 hours per week for a 12 month fixed term contract.
