Salary: £11.44 per hour Closing Date: Monday 30 September 2024 Reference: BSU-21-24
This position is only open to students studying at University of Brighton and will be responsible for providing a high level of service to customers and assisting in the smooth running of the service. The duration of this contract is 11/09/2024 to 17/06/2025.
Main Responsibilities
• Carry out general shop duties (i.e. serving customers, dealing with customer enquiries, taking orders, cash handling and till operations)
• Provide advise to customers on art materials and other shop products.
• Help maintain a high level of shop merchandising by ensuring rapid and efficient stock replenishment, highlighting lines that need re-ordering and adhering to stock planograms
• Undertake retail and customer service activities within the Student Union Shop to exceed sales targets, profitability and customer satisfaction in line with agreed practices
• Provide a consistent level of customer service that is efficient, courteous and professional
