We have an exciting opportunity for a Researcher to join the Medicine Quality Research Group (MQRG) at the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health, Nuffield Department of Medicine.
The MQRG is a multinational and multicountry team that has led research to understand the available evidence on the performances and the evidence gaps regarding the use of portable screening technologies to contribute to policy and implementation of the WHO Prevent, Detect, Respond strategies.
Reporting to Dr Céline Caillet, you will be a key member of the Medicine Quality Research Group with responsibility to optimize the usability of the dashboard by medicines regulatory authorities involved in the choice, procurement and implementation of portable screening technologies for post- market surveillance. Key work will be to conduct surveys and interviews to assess the usability of the dashboard in order to identify improvements and liaise with the dashboard engineer for their implementation. To be successful in this role, you will hold a PhD (or be close to completion) in public health, pharmacy or related field, together with experience in development or evaluation of online dashboards (online interactive tools) or experience in informatics projects related to health.You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels of seniority in the University and with collaborators overseas. You will be to work unsupervised taking responsibility for your projects and administrative tasks, or as part of a team taking instruction from others and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including the ability to present research results, and represent the research group at meetings.
