Job Description

Ensure tasks in pursuit of research projects on organic pollutants in air, seawater and soil in the research group of Prof. Gerhard Lammel.

In the case of interest and mutual agreement, it is possible to combine the work with doctoral education and obtaining a PhD degree.

Key duties

  • participation in research projects that develop and apply new environmental technologies
  • introduction and use of analytical methodologies
  • performing laboratory experiments, analysing samples from the environment
  • processing of data and results, contribution to preparation of reports and publications
  • Skills and Qualifications

    The applicant must have

  • university education (B.Sc./M.Sc./Ing.) in the fields of environmental science, chemistry or physics
  • experience working in a laboratory
  • English (minimum level B1) as the working language
  • The applicant should have

  • willingness to acquire and actively apply new skills and knowledge
  • thoroughness, ability to plan and organize working time
  • Beneficial to have/know

  • experience in analytical chemistry, liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry
