Projects will include the assessment of: (1) risk factors for the development of chronic/persistent pain and “flare-up” of pain (a meaningful increase in symptoms) through studying a diverse array of candidate biological, behavioural, psychological, social and environmental factors in the “real world” using advanced wearable and online technologies in large and small cohorts, (2) underlying pain mechanisms by exploring detailed physiological and biomechanical measures, and (3) new treatments for pain by helping coordinate a major clinical trial.
In this role, you will work with project investigators on a range of tasks associated with the conduct of these studies, including setup, recruitment/retention of study participants, data collection, data analysis and preparation of manuscripts.

Supervision and Researcher Development: Contribute to the development of research staff and students.
Citizenship and Service: Participate in priority research activities for the team, perform administrative functions, provide support to colleagues, and uphold university values.
