    The Opportunity

    The Haematology Department is in search of a dedicated Research Nurse who possesses a strong work ethic and is eager to engage in professional development opportunities.

    This position will be responsible for collecting top-tier clinical research data and providing exemplary medical care to subjects (patients) in accordance with the standards set by the National Health Medical and Research Council (NHMRC), Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (GCP), the International Committee of Harmonisation (ICH) and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

    To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A Nursing degree from a recognized university, accompanied by a minimum of four years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education/training
  • Proficiency in venepuncture, blood processing, and ECG procedures
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills for diverse interactions.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and navigating electronic records and web-based platforms.
  • A strong work ethic with a proactive attitude towards professional development with an exceptional attention to detail.
