Research Nurse (at the rank of Nurse) in the Department of Emergency Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.:526516) (to commence as soon as possible for one to two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should be registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese), and good communication skills. Applicants should also be patient, responsible, independent and able to work under pressure. Experience in accident and emergency departments and blood-taking skills is preferred but not mandatory.

The appointee will coordinate patient recruitment in research studies supported by the Health and Medical Research Fund (HMRF). Travel among Accident & Emergency Departments in Hong Kong and flexible working hours may be required.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on 2-year fixed terms will come with a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
