The Faculty of Education is looking for a research manager to support Cambridge Global Challenges (CGC) an Interdisciplinary Research Centre (IRC) of the University of Cambridge. CGC focuses on addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals in the Global South through Southern-led research. In the role you would contribute to the development and strategy of the IRC, working closely with its Co-Directors, Steering Group and External Advisory Board, develop, manage and deliver the Centre's core activities in order to implement its strategy including around partnership-building, research support, fundraising and research impact.
What you will need
Essential qualities include:
-Doctoral level qualification, or equivalent experience
-Experience in identifying and supporting research funding applications, and preparing reports to funders
-Knowledge of working in global South contexts on issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals
-Interest in supporting equitable partnerships
-Experience in building strategic international, interdisciplinary partnerships, including in university or other related contexts
-Knowledge of using social media and preparing newsletters for internal and external communications purposes
