BackgroundThe Centre for Food Policy focuses on redesigning effective food systems through research, practice, and policy impact. We seek a Research Fellow to work within the THRIVING Food Futures project, leading reviews and stakeholder interviews to identify policy priorities for healthy, sustainable diets.
ResponsibilitiesThe Research Fellow will lead a rapid review of health and Net Zero policies, conduct rapid qualitative research with food systems stakeholders, and synthesize findings to identify policy priorities for healthy, sustainable diets accessible to everyone. The postholder will collaborate with the THRIVING Food Futures consortium, prepare policy-relevant and other outputs, contribute to food policy education, and participate in consortium and Centre for Food Policy activities.
Person SpecificationThe successful candidate will need a PhD, in a relevant field, experience in food systems research, and proven skills in systematic reviewing and qualitative research. They should have excellent writing and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a strong knowledge of policy's role in supporting sustainable, healthy diets for everyone.
