The Centre for Health Economics (CHE) at the University of York is seeking to appoint a Research Fellow within the Health Policy team on a full-time open contract (part-time applications will also be considered with a minimum of 0.8 FTE).
The successful applicant will contribute to our existing portfolio of research projects, applying an economic perspective to the quantitative analysis and evaluation of health, social and mental health policy at the intersection of demand for and supply of health and social care. In particular, the Research Fellow will contribute to research on the effect of additional public funding on delayed transfers of care in hospitals and topics covered by the Economics of Health and Social Care Systems Policy Research Unit (ESHCRU).
The Research Fellow will be based in the CHE, one of the world's most prominent academic health economics research centres. For over forty years we have been committed to the development and application of economics to promote health and well-being through the effective, efficient, and equitable use of scarce resources. We are a community of over 100 research staff, support staff, and PhD students.
