    The Opportunity

    Join our team as a Research Fellow and play a pivotal role in undertaking process evaluations embedded in clinical trials of complex non-drug interventions. Embedded process evaluations will be your focus, assessing intervention fidelity and understanding trial outcomes.

    Reporting to the Professor and Head of the Respiratory Care Research Unit, this role entails conducting systematic reviews, collecting qualitative and quantitative data, and preparing manuscripts for publication. Additionally, you will provide support to the Group Lead, with the responsibility of coordinating and assisting with the advancement of the program, supervision of students, opportunities for authorship on publications, and facility development activities.

    The ideal candidate for this position will hold a doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline or possess equivalent research experience. You should demonstrate strong skills in collecting and analysing qualitative and quantitative data and experience with process evaluation and other implementation science methodologies. You should be adept at working both independently and collaboratively in a research environment, have excellent organizational abilities, and possess strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge of Good Clinical Practice requirements and experience in research involving participants with chronic health conditions and conducting clinical trials will be highly valued.
