    The Opportunity

Ignite your career as a Clinical Neuropsychologist/Research Fellow in the cutting-edge Neuroimmunology, Neuroinflammation, and Neurological Diseases Lab at Monash University. This unique 1FTE role combines a 0.4FTE post-doctoral research position and a 0.6FTE clinical role at Alfred Health, forming the foundation of a clinician-academic position. Reporting to Associate Professor Mastura Monif, you'll be at the forefront of neuropsychology research, focusing on autoimmune encephalitis, CART cell therapy neurotoxicity, and other neuroinflammatory diseases.

Responsibilities include driving your research within the lab, conducting cognitive assessments, and contributing to the Australian Autoimmune Encephalitis project. Collaborate with the team, supervise students, and actively engage in grant applications. This role is ideal for a neuropsychologist with a passion for clinical-academic work, diagnostic challenges, and translational research.

Join us in unravelling the complexities of neuroinflammatory and neurological diseases.

Diversity is one of our greatest strengths at Monash. We encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, culturally and linguistically diverse people, people with disabilities, neurodiverse people, and people of all genders, sexualities, and age groups.
