Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorders at the epigenetic and metabolomic level

Applications are invited for an enthusiastic Postdoctoral Research Fellow in molecular bioscience and bioinformatics to join our multidisciplinary group investigating how environmental factors impact on the metabolome and epigenome of adolescents living with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their susceptibility to non-communicable diseases in later life. Using advanced computational methods such as AI and control theory epigenetic and metabolic data will be used to predict biological, clinical, and psychological outcomes and underlying mechanisms. For further details see Ethereal (etherealproject.eu). Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent qualifications in bioinformatics or medical informatics. It is anticipated that the post will be taken up in March 2024 and will be available for a fixed term of 2 years.
