Unlock the potential of your research journey as a Level A Research Fellow in the vibrant and collaborative environment of the Faculty of Science at Monash University. The School of Mathematics, one of the largest within the Faculty, is at the forefront of innovation and knowledge creation, fostering close collaborations with esteemed Schools and Departments such as Physics and Astronomy, Earth, Atmosphere, and Environment. Additionally, we pride ourselves on interdisciplinary partnerships with Faculties including Business and Economics, Medicine, Information Technology, Engineering, and the Monash Data Futures Institute.
As a 3-year Research Fellow, you will work under the guidance of Prof Jessica Purcell in a research topic fitting with the low-dimensional topology group at Monash. Current lines of research include, but are not restricted to: interactions between low-dimensional and quantum topology, hyperbolic geometry, knot theory, and computational topology.
