Oxford Brookes Business School is recruiting for a Research Fellow who will contribute to high-quality research, focusing on qualitative methods and areas such as co-creation, innovation ecosystems, industrial policy, technology adoption, and regional development.

This is a full time post, fixed term until 31 March 2026.

What will I be doing?

  • Designing and conducting high-quality research aligned with project objectives.
  • You will Identify, organize, and review relevant literature, including academic and policy sources.
  • Using qualitative research methods and tools (e.g., Nvivo) to analyze data and produce insights.
  • Contributing to drafting academic outputs, including journal articles, book chapters, and policy reports.
  • Translating research into practical and policy insights for dissemination.
  • Communicating complex and technical research findings effectively to varied audiences using multiple media formats.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including government, industry, and academic partners.
  • What skills and experience do I need?

  • High-quality research publications for appropriate career stage, a clear sense of career development goals and how this opportunity will contribute to these and have experience of working in a research project team.

  • Qualitative research skills, experience with analysing and visualising data, and confidence communicating with stakeholders in Government and industry.

  • Research experience and expertise in co-creation, innovation ecosystems, technology adoption, and related innovation management and policy areas.
