Traineeship position
As the Research Communications Assistant, you will work with the Research Communications Advisor, driving communication efforts to promote, leverage and amplify RMIT Europe's role as a partner in EU funded projects.
This position is responsible for assisting with various communication projects and tasks, including but not limited to drafting and editing content for both print and online formats, creating and distributing communication materials, coordinating social media accounts, supporting internal and external event delivery and helping with the execution of external campaigns.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
Completion of university studies in Spain in communications and/or event management related fields
Excellent communication skills
Excellent time management skills, the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high volume, changing environment
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain the accuracy of information from a variety of sources
Good computer literacy across a wide range of programs and applications – online communications tools such as MailChimp, TypeForm, Canvas and experience in website content management systems would be advantageous (not mandatory)
Please note: This is a new graduate position (maximum 12 months) and therefore no prior professional experience is required. An individual training plan will be developed in line with the objectives of the trainee.
