This is an exciting opportunity to undertake academic research through an industry focused lens and will involve training from Trailblazer Fellows in industrial entrepreneurship!
Your new role We are seeking a passionate Research Associate to expand our expertise in opto-mechanics and undertake R&D associated with the development of LIDAR instrumentation based on Raman spectroscopy applied to the stand-off airborne detection of natural hydrogen gas emanating from sub-surface terrestrial sources. Additionally, there is a focus on aspects of safety in the workplace, with the ultimate goal of detecting fugitive hydrogen gas emissions.
To be successful in this role, you will require a PhD in Engineering or be close to completion. We are also interested in hearing from candidates who have equivalent combined academic qualifications and industry experience. You will also be required to obtain Laser Safety certification.
