We are seeking a driven and innovative Research Associate to join the Oxford Sustainable Finance Group and contribute to transformative work on net zero transition plans.
As a Research Associate, you will work closely with the Head of Transition Finance Research, contributing to impactful research that explores the implementation of climate transition strategies. This role is a unique opportunity to advance knowledge in a high-priority field while gaining valuable experience. The post-holder will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to explore the implementation of climate transition plans.
The role is strongly balanced towards research, but with opportunities for gaining teaching experience. The post-holder will contribute to existing research projects and help create new ones on climate transition plans in collaboration with the Head of Transition Research. The post-holder will have the opportunity to attend international conferences and workshops relevant to their work and potentially also participate in short-term secondments with our partners.
The postholder will have the opportunity to raise funding, manage budgets and supervise research assistants or DPhil students where appropriate.
This post is fixed-term until December 2026 and offered on a full-time basis.
