About the roleWe are seeking a highly motivated and talented researcher to work with Dr Haiyan Zheng and Professor Chris Jennison on a research project funded by AstraZeneca, a global science-led biopharmaceutical company. This project is focused on developing efficient statistical design and analysis of modern clinical trials that simultaneously evaluate the dose-response relationships specific to various patient subgroups. Further information about the research can be found in the Job Description below.
As a member of Dr Zheng's research group you will be offered a tailored development programme to grow your knowledge and career as a medical statistician.

About youOur ideal candidate will have:
Knowledge and experience in Bayesian inference, experimental designs, and decision theory will be an advantage.
A lower grade offer may be made (Grade 6) with comparable reduction in responsibilities and amendment in job title to Research Assistant, if a suitable applicant cannot be found to fill the Grade 7 position. Applicants will need to be within six months of their course completion date and will be promoted to Research Associate once their PhD has been awarded.
