Position SummaryA research associate (postdoc) is sought to develop novel computer vision techniques to address challenges in precision livestock farming. A key focus area is the collation and creation of public datasets and tools for advancing computer vision applied to livestock farming. The successful applicant will be expected to work the multiple experts in animal science and engineering, must have excellent communication skills, and be adept in learning new skills.

Required DegreeDoctorate -Animal Science, Computer Science or Engineering
Minimum RequirementsThe candidate must have a PhD in Animal Science, Computer Science, or in Engineering, and have publications showing experience using computer vision to solve problems in animal agriculture.
