Position SummaryThe Flint Registry, under the direction of Drs. Mona Hanna-Attisha and Nicole Jones, invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate (Fixed-Term) for one year, with potential reappointment through July 31, 2025. A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-designated public health authority, the Flint Registry's (https: // www. flintregistry.org/) goal is to track the long-term health of people who were impacted by the Flint Water Crisis and to connect them to resources and programs that serve to minimize the effects of lead on their health while promoting wellness and recovery. This position will be based in Flint, Michigan.
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be integrally involved in the evaluation and research of the Flint Registry. Exact roles on the research project will depend on Postdoctoral Research Associate's interests and skills, and stage of the research. It is anticipated that the postdoctoral fellow would support and lead design, analysis, dissemination of results of new analyses that support evaluation of the Flint Registry, and sub-studies that investigate research questions that address both the interests of the candidate and the Flint community.
The candidate will be ready to apply research skills using a creative, data- driven, and team-oriented approach.
