The Institute for Mathematical Innovation (IMI) at the University of Bath invites applications from excellent candidates for a two-year, 0.5FTE fixed- term Mathematical Innovation Research Associate (MIRA) position.
About the role
We are looking for a talented and versatile mathematician to work as part of a team of interdisciplinary mathematical researchers at the IMI.
As part of the role, you will be expected to work as part of interdisciplinary academic teams to:
We will be recruiting for one position with expertise in as many of the following areas as possible, preferably at least two:
MIRA roles are exciting and demanding requiring independence, intellectual flexibility and a proactive, can-do attitude.
MIRAs are a core team within IMI that provides expert input into the development of new research ideas and funding bids, in addition to conducting research on collaborative projects involving academics and industry.
