The project combines evidence from a survey experiment and a community-based qualitative study at a local library, to learn more from people's interactions with these technologies, including those who are less likely to be online.

The role of the Research Assistant is to support the community study component, including planning, recruitment, conducting interviews and focus groups alongside the PI.

This opportunity would build on experience such as: - Qualitative research, specifically interviews and focus groups (essential) - Expertise in community research approaches (desirable) - Managing complex research projects (essential) - Excellent communication abilities, particularly in engaging diverse audiences with sensitivity and empathy (essential) - Substantive research in digital civics, tech for good and similar (desirable).
