To provide informatics support users of the Wayne State University cores. Essential Functions: Bioinformatics support for Genome Sciences Core (GSC) services including alignment, count tabulation, differential analyses of transcriptomics and methylation, variant detection, metagenomics, and single-cell RNA (Ribonucleic Acid) sequencing (scRNA-seq – Single Cell Ribonucleic Acid sequencing) analysis. Targeted bioinformatics analysis on funded research projects. Communicate project progress and results with Genome Sciences Core (GSC} users. Investigate and implement updated pipelines to address research questions. Perform other related duties as assigned.
