Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree with post-doctoral training or working experience in the area of molecular and cellular biology, animal/cell study experiences with regard to cancers; (ii) a strong interest in translational research in the area of target cancer therapies; (iii) strong publication records and international or local grant records; (iv) able to develop and manage his/her research independently; (v) able to supervise mentees for research activities; and (vi) a strong motivation for a future independent career.
Duties include (a) conduct research project independently; (b) publish papers in academic journals; (c) mentor and supervise research postgraduate students and junior staff; (d) write proposals for research grant; and (e) assist in laboratory management.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for 1 year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
