Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in human genetics or medical science; (ii) strong interest and deep comprehension in bioinformatics with experience in applying genome sequencing technology in the fields of genomic medicine and prenatal diagnosis; (iii) expertise in human cytogenetics and molecular genetics with experience in a clinical laboratory setting; (iv) a proven track record of publications in identification of chromosomal structural rearrangements; and (v) commitment to work as a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and motivation to take on leadership roles for the advancement of research and patient care.
Duties include (a) undertaking postgraduate teaching; (b) writing research grant applications and academic papers; and (c) assisting in research collaboration and management.
Appointment will be made on contract basis for up to three years, renewable subject to mutual agreement and good performance.
